I think the led-blinking only works if a network is connected to that port. Under "advanced" there is an option to blink the LED of a network port, and they are numbered "Bus:Device:Function 01:00:00", also can't be changed, and the MAC address is listed there too. In the Bios settings, under "chipset" -> "PCH-IO" -> "PCI Express" -> there is "PCIE Port assignment to LAN " but that setting is black instead of blue and can't be changed. It does have the same "LAN1" printed on the board, as in your photo's. The layout of my (i5) board is very similar but not identical, for example the buzzer is moved. It's not a big issue, I plan to stick on my own labels anyway, I just spend way to much time to figure out that I needed to connect to "LAN5" to access the web-interface after my first install ![]() Unfortunately I could find not find a bios setting that looked applicable.
